DeepWood is the balanced experience of living and dining well: sincere hospitality, personal connections, inviting atmosphere, local responsibility and a fresh evolving menu. The restaurant is an invitation into a home and is to be as much about its people and the way its guests are made to feel as the dishes defining the meal.

The restaurant provides the opportunity for two styles of dining experiences, each with respective menu and setting. The Tavern and Dining Room, though unique in approach, are unified in themes of food creativity, decorative styling and unparalleled service. Chef Pawlak is generous in his commitment to cooking for the pleasure of others. The two menus allow for the complete offering of his technical skill, personal heritage and culinary inspiration. The artistry of the kitchen is further colored by a world class beverage program and framed by a refined atmosphere. The use of American antiques, copper accents and colonial finishes is showcased throughout.

Guests can feel relaxed in the experience of the DW American tavern or refined in the DeepWood dining room. DW is the casual expression of everyday; its menu honors New England signatures: Wellfleet Oysters and Boston Baked Beans with Dough-Dads and respects classics: Steak Au Poivre, as presented within the live energy of a tavern atmosphere. The DeepWood Dining Room features refined American cuisine highlighting Ohio as well as East Coast ingredients and embraces a traditional yet approachable white table cloth setting. DW is the feeling of a home's kitchen table, DeepWood is its dining room. We invite guests to enjoy both experiences as they would living and dining in their own home.

Reserve Dining

DeepWood Reserve Dining Rooms
DeepWood offers two distinctive spaces as private and semi private hosts accommodating groups of 10 to 60 in traditional sit down settings or upward of 100 in open house formats. The Oak Room and The DeepWood Stage are both available for individual bookings for personal or professional events and provide the backdrop for experience dining. The following offers a brief detail of the qualities of each of the spaces; the descriptions are to provide a base introduction, we welcome discussions to customize layouts and accent décor as given the expectations of your event.

DeepWood Stage
Positioned in the rear of the main dining room, The DeepWood Stage offers a semi private experience with all the classic DeepWood appeal, including open window views of downtown Columbus landmarks. A plush, floor to ceiling curtain secludes and sets the stage for groups of 10 to 30 in a variety of table settings.

OAK ROOM
The newly introduced Oak Room is the remodel of a once active art gallery, thereby extending creative appeal over a traditional banquet hall. The Oak Room is an open and private space and is an extension of the DeepWood dining room. Guests of the evening enter thru the front door of the restaurant and are then escorted to this exclusive room, where they are welcomed into an atmosphere of a customized dining. The space can accommodate intimate groups of 10 as well as extend guest lists of 60 given its flexibility with layout.
